Notification obligation in the sense of the Battery Act (BattG)

Since you can choose from a variety of modern storage systems (batteries) or for a battery or battery-operated product in our range, we are obliged under the Battery Act (BattG) to inform you of the following:
Batteries and rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with household waste, you are legally obliged to return used batteries and rechargeable batteries. Used batteries can contain pollutants that, if not properly stored or disposed of, can damage the environment or your health. Batteries also contain important raw materials such as As iron, zinc, manganese or nickel and can be used.
You can either send the batteries back to us after use or return them free of charge in the immediate vicinity (e.g. in shops or at municipal collection points).
The supply in sales outlets is limited to end users for the usual quantities as well as those used batteries that the distributor carries or has carried as new batteries in its range.

The symbol with the crossed out garbage can means that you cannot dispose of batteries in the household waste.
Under this symbol you will also find the following symbols with the following meaning:

Pb: battery contains lead

Cd: battery contains cadmium

Hg: battery contains mercury

We would like to point out that you, as the end user, are legally obliged to return the used batteries.

All batteries are marked with the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol.
