The highly innovative NRGkick Fix "Select" charging unit is the safest charging unit on the market - and probably also the most intelligent. The ground-breaking, patented safety plug system with temperature monitoring on each phase pin ensures that scorched sockets are ruled out.

Innovations such as autonomous load management, blackout protection, locally assignable charging reports via WLAN and the option of upgrading additional functions at any time via the app (such as photovoltaic-guided charging with phase switching in the near future) prove that with NRGkick Fix "Select" you are not only technically at the cutting edge, but far beyond!

Fastest possible charging (up to 22 kW), simple and uncomplicated

With NRGkick Fix, all electric cars with a type 2 interface, whether 1-, 2- or 3-phase, can be charged at the maximum possible AC charging speed (up to 22 kW). With a fixed connection to the NRGkick wall socket, all specifications regarding the KfW funding guidelines are of course observed and the maximum charging power is fully automatically and reliably limited to 11 kW. Compared to the "emergency charging cable" for household sockets, this means that charging is up to 10 times faster and you can start your next journey fully charged in a very short time instead of many hours.

With NRGkick Fix "Select", you don't have to worry about planning and high installation costs: all you need is the NRGkick wall socket, which is already included and can be installed by an electrician on a 16A fused supply line in no time at all. The residual current protection mechanism for AC and DC residual currents, which would otherwise have to be installed separately, is also already included in the charging unit!

The safest loading unit on the market and also extremely robust

NRGkick Fix "Select" offers a wealth of safety functions, some of which have never been seen before, such as the patented safety plug system with puller detection and arc protection as well as temperature monitoring for each plug attachment on each individual phase pin! With Schuko plug attachments, the temperature is recorded on both pins. Scorched sockets are a thing of the past once and for all!

But these are just two of an incredible number of safety functions, NRGkick Fix "Select" offers blackout protection and undervoltage protection, overvoltage protection, phase shift detection, incorrect connection check, switching contact diagnostics, protective conductor check using loop impedance measurement, included residual current protection (AC, DC + 6 mA), mains frequency diagnostics, automatic self-test and many, many more functions!

Of course, safety also means that NRGkick Fix "Select" is extremely resistant to external influences and tampering by third parties. The loading unit therefore has the highest load values and a variety of functions to ensure this, such as

Patented safety plug system

The patented safety plug system of the NRGkick Fix "Select" has unique functions that are far ahead of the market. It consists of the plug unit and optional plug attachments, which are available for all standard sockets as well as for public charging stations. In fact, NRGkick Fix is everything an e-car driver ever needs to charge their vehicle anywhere there is electricity!

However, the system also scores with many other functions. For example, it enables the temperature to be measured - for each individual plug attachment and even on each individual phase pin. In the case of Schuko plug attachments, the temperature is recorded on both pins. So scorched sockets are therefore impossible with NRGkick!

Another unique feature is the system's fully automatic disconnection detection. This ensures that when the charging unit is disconnected from the power supply, no dangerous arcs can occur for you or your socket.

An additional LED display on the plug unit, haptic optimization through the use of soft components, the avoidance of any "cable clutter" and many other functions make the safety plug system an outstanding innovation!

Thermo-protect temperature management

If a socket becomes too hot, this is detected thanks to the temperature monitoring of the plug attachments on each phase pin. As a result, NRGkick Fix "Select" is able to regulate the charging current completely independently by means of the included temperature management and ensure safe operation without danger. In the case of household sockets, both pins are temperature-monitored, so there is always absolute safety for the charging unit AND the socket - regardless of the connection!

Autonomous load management and blackout protection

An absolutely unique feature: NRGkick Fix "Select" provides autonomous load management and protects against power failures! This means that if NRGkick Fix "Select" detects that the voltage is dropping too low due to an excessive load in the grid, the charging current is automatically regulated so that the grid can "recover" or stabilize again.

In contrast to other load management systems, no complex configuration is required - the autonomous load management of NRGkick Fix "Select" works fully automatically and without user intervention. In addition to this unique function, other load management options will also be available for NRGkick Fix "Select" in the future.

Bluetooth and WLAN, optional GSM/GPS/SIM

The large number of interfaces ensures that NRGkick Fix "Select" can be accessed anytime and anywhere. Each NRGkick Fix "Select" has a Bluetooth and WLAN interface (optional GSM/GPS/SIM) as well as access to the NRGkick Cloud and the Web API. The free NRGkick app for iOS and Android allows you to access the charging unit at any time and use all the advanced functions.

The NRGkick Fix version with GSM/GPS/SIM ensures that you really do have access to your NRGkick from anywhere. Not only EDGE and GPRS are used, but also 4G M1 and 4G NB-IoT - these connection types were specially developed for "Internet of Things" applications and are designed to give you access to your NRGkick Fix even in difficult communication situations (e.g. underground car parks)! If, for example, charging costs are only reimbursed to third parties if they have taken place at certain locations, you can be sure that the charges are securely recorded and transmitted thanks to GSM/GPS/SIM.

Locally assignable charging reports via WLAN & charging reports with GPS coordinates (with GSM/GPS/SIM variant)

In the NRGkick app, the location of the Wi-Fi networks set up can also be specified as an option - for example, "At home" or "At work". This information can also be viewed later in the charging reports, making it possible to make precise statements about the amount of energy charged at a specific location!

NRGkick Fix "Select" has connectivity via Bluetooth and WLAN as standard. However, it is also available with additional communication options - GSM/GPS and integrated SIM! This means that the charging unit can in fact be accessed from anywhere, without you having to be nearby and regardless of any unavailable WLAN networks.

Thanks to GPS, NRGkick Fix "Select" also has the ability to display loads in load reports with the associated geolocation data! This means that you can subsequently determine exactly where and how much was loaded - which in turn can be very helpful if you only want to prove loads from certain locations (e.g. for billing purposes).

Upgradeable & updateable

NRGkick Fix "Select" adapts entirely to your wishes - so functions can be upgraded at any time, even after purchase! You already have an e-car, but are only planning your photovoltaic system for the next few years? No problem with NRGkick Fix "Select"! Get functions such as photovoltaic-guided charging with phase switching at any time later for your NRGkick Fix "Select" - without additional hardware, without buying a new charging unit!
